Application for Reporting and Consultation
Victims of human rights violations or those who are aware of such incidents can report to the center. Even if there is no report from the parties involved or a third party, the center may initiate an investigation on its own authority if there is a substantial reason to believe that there has been a violation of human rights and the matter is considered serious.
Investigation of the Incident
After listening to the account of the individual seeking consultation (or the one reporting the incident), the Human Rights Center will, if it deems necessary, conduct an investigation into the incident. Throughout this process, the center will give due consideration to the victim's perspective on how the investigation should proceed.
Resolution through Mediation or Arbitration
Cases can be settled through arbitration either based on the involved parties' wishes or by the center's own authority. As long as it doesn't go against the desires of the involved parties, a harmonious conflict resolution can be sought through mediation and arbitration in collaboration with the Human Rights Center, without relying on disciplinary or legal proceedings.
Human Rights Committee Review
The Human Rights Committee is the body responsible for reviewing and deciding on human rights violation cases. It ultimately determines whether there is a need to request disciplinary review from the respective colleges or related departments. The meetings of the Human Rights Review Committee are, as a rule, held in private.
